Mudlarks Garden

We are delighted to announce that we have secured the running of the Forest School for the foreseeable future.

Mudlarks Forest school supports young adults with learning disabilities,  giving participants the opportunity to take part in activities, connecting them with the natural environment & encouraging self-directed play & exploration. A wide selection of learning tools includes den building, woodland craft activities & forest trails. Everything is child led, encouraging individuals to explore and gain self confidence in a safe environment.

The Forest school is the 5th project to open in the local area for Mudlarks, with the allotment on Cromwell Road & cafe on Railway street already established, as well as our two community gardening teams.

Managing Director – Vic Hobson said

“This is a fantastic opportunity to re-open a learning facility that was so popular with the local community. We look forward to welcoming everyone ".

The Forest school is open to children with learning disabilities aged 14+ during term time.
