Mudlarks are delighted to announce that they have join the Chatty Café scheme, in a bid to get Hertford talking.
The café will have a designated Chatter & Natter table where customers can sit if they are happy to talk to other customers. The aim of the scheme is to reduce loneliness and get people talking.
“Our aim this year is to bring more people together though the art of conversation to reduce the feeling of isolation and loneliness. The Chatty Café scheme is a perfect way to start our campaign” Vic Hobson MD of The Mudlarks Community.
Chatter & Natter tables are aimed at everyone: if you’re on your own, in a couple, with a friend, with babies, young people, older people and anyone in between!
Mudlarks ethos is “inclusion for everyone in our community” and having chatty tables in its Café will hopefully address the new research which reveals we’re having less conversation as a nation, with six in ten people having fewer face-to-face chats compared to ten years ago.
